Lefty and Hannah met me in H-town yesterday morning for a hunt. Ended up with two decent boar hogs and a shoat. It was 39 degrees at daylight and 65 when we left... dang gators were out sunning in it!

Nice hunt. Wish I had a spot to go. I'm covered up by goat hunters.

Thanks y’all.

T-dog, I’ve been very fortunate to have these city places to hunt during deer season.

We have a credit union that backs up to the railroad tracks.  The opposite side of the tracks are out of city limits. The hogs came across and rooted the whole thing up. They called and I went took care of that for them. I think I caught 7 real good hogs that morning and they haven't left their hood again. That's as close to city hunting as I'll get in this huge metropolis we live in.

Hunting in Houston is a whole different world for sure. I’ve had lots of folks come hunt over the years that wouldn’t even turn a dog loose haha.

Mike, those people don't know what fun they're missing out on. That place is awesome, I'd say it's like Jurassic Park crossed with Grand Theft Auto

Lol that was a good one hollowpoint. What’s it like Mike? Around me in SC that aren’t really pigs around populated areas, then again there isn’t much land around those populated areas. Our pigs tend to hang out in the swamp or around a river.

Mike, do you hunt a place on the southeast corner of 59 and the Sam Houston right north of Humble? I think it was Airport land.

Not on the airport property, but I do have several places within 10-20 minutes from there. Most of that airport property is cleared off now... tons of deer in what woods are left.

Austesus... it gets a little exciting at times. Baying hogs in neighborhoods, in the ditches besides busy roads stopping traffic... even in the median sometimes. But that’s usually always guest’s dogs... that’s why all mine are tone broke haha. We stopped a woman and her daughter hauling one to Pets Mart one day to see if it was microchipped.  A woman picked one of mine up one time, called me and met me at McDonalds... when she figured out a shock collar was on the dog, she tossed it in the bushes. Had another threaten to call 911 on us because the dogs were panting hahaha. Found one in car with the AC running because it was hot and then another was feeding one weenies off a fork because it was hungry. Not to mention all the deer hunting poachers that try to slip in this time of year... luckily we have a good relationship with the Sheriff’s Dept and Game Wardens.

A lot more bull$hit than most folks would put up with... but I’ve done it as long as I’ve been hunting.

That's patience at its finest because my country butt wouldn't do well with it. We need to boycott or outlaw any shows or cartoons where animals talk and think.like people. Too man idiots that never traveled past the city limit signs don't know that they are fiction. They don't even realize the steak or hamburger they are shoveling down was once a living, breathing animal while they right out a check to support some animal rights extremists. Hats off to you buddy.
