Went to a new hunting spot Saturday night, dog’s really rolled and hunted hard, just didn’t get on anything. Left and went to some public land we been hunting and kicked loose. Started to look like we were going to get skunked, and the dogs lit out. Took him about 500 and bayed, he broke and went 450. Pulled up to 200 yards of the bay , get the bulldogs out and get to 60 yards, cut em loose and he winds us or something and lights out again. Swims a 20 acre plus pond , goes  600 and they shut him down. We had caught the bulldogs out of the water and lead them to 30 yards, the wind was helping us this time.  Cut them and we caught him. 2 pits and 3 cur dogs hanging on him and he never made a sound. Stuck him and still nothing. He cut all but one dog, nothing too bad but that hog was. Not the biggest or best tooth one we caught lately but he was rough and tough and quick.

Good hunt... those boars like that are always the worse on the dogs.

Its amazing to me how some even though there bigger wont give you the trouble as others that are smaller will do...   Some are just smarter than others I guess..   Fine dog work to finish the deal

Thanks fellas, I like them tough ones. If the situation had been a little different, he would just be missing his manhood. The dogs are healing up good. None were cut too bad.
