Went back to the ranch I caught the old hog on last weekend. Hunted hard until noon and couldn’t find a sign of a hog anywhere... including 4 of the neighbors places. On the last drop, two of our young dogs slipped off and bayed this boar in his bed. Two of my older dogs got there, he broke and only made it 400 yards before they had him bayed for good. I had Chris, Lefty and Hannah with me... Hannah got to kill her first hog.

Dang fine one to be broke in on.   Glad for her.   Fine dog work for some pups at that time of the day.

Real good boar. He looks a little on the rough side. I need to try that dry land hunting. Save on the laundry bill. lol  Good hog for Hannah's first.
