Rowdy, Donovan and I made a hunt this morning. We been after this hog for over a month Rowdy and I first found his track while deer season was still in.He roams a big chunk of the club and seems to walk all night solo.We trailed him a half mile and off the club last week. This morning we rigged his track right after daylight and just like every other time that joker put down some circles crossing ditches in blocks outa blocks through a swamp. Finally at about 9 the dogs and us had pushed it far enough for Hambone to line out the rest he went another 800 and bayed him in his bed.Striker and Copper got there and the woods were roaring got close and sent Dozer and Bubba caught hog he got a artery in Dozers jaw got the hog tied and Dozer patched up took some pics and cut him loose.Another fine mornin in the hog woods. Good hog cracker! It still amazes me to watch the Garmin and see how these hogs travel.

Real good boar and nice trailing by the dogs. I have had a tracking collar on a boar and sometimes we would find him as far as 10 miles away from his home range. Had one on a barr and he stayed put on the same branch, even after we had run him a bunch with puppies.

That is a big fat booger, Cracker. Great to see that young un of yours still going. I sure like seeing the kids take an interest like that.

Nice hunt. Guess those hogs haven't figured out they can run but they can't hide from ole hambone.
