Well maybe not his first hunt, but the first for him as a Texas resident. Myself, my nephew Dillian, Colton, Jay, and "the red nose" (new Texican). Colton brought a couple catch dogs and 2 pups. Jay brought 2 find dogs. Red nose brought a catch dog. And brought my 2 young find dogs. We cast all the dogs and away they go. Few hundred yards later my 2 went west and Jay's 2 went east. Heard my bay at a little over half a mile and couple minutes later Jay's to were bayed .8 from on another place we hunt. We loaded up and went to his and for whatever reason missed him. He made a big loop and came back past us and we got to see he was a good hog (230 on the scales). He went right back to where we cast from and we sank his ship right there. I didn't realize but somebody had sold tickets to this big hog windmilling a big bulldog. I know that's what happened because red nose bought one and was watching from about 5 rows back. We loaded and untied him then went to my 2 young dogs. At this point they had been bayed in the same spot for about 2+ hours. We sent the red noses dog in and they fell into the creek. At this point I started wondering if red nose was a vampire and the creek water might be holy water. He wasn't going to get wet. They went under and the bulldog had to let go and wasn't able to get the best hold on the hog this time and got pushed off on a tree growing out of the bank. He turned and ran and up onto the bank and the bank him about 20 yards or so. We loaded the hog and dogs and went to lunch. I'm only gonna post one picture because I received death threats if I posted the real retro, cuddle picture. LMAO we had a good time. Dogs worked well and caught 2 pretty decent boars with good friends.

That's what it is all about. Having a good time with friends and watching good dogs work.

That’s awesome those two young dogs stayed hooked that long. Maybe next time you can slip in behind the red nose and “baptize “ him.  Angry

Lol shadygrove we have a good time. We made a hunt yesterday, the red nose, sid, kyle, dillian, and 3 of our Wyoming buddies. It was non stop trash talking and laughing. We even caught some hogs, 2 good sows, a good boar, and a pile of 15 or 20 pounders. You're welcome to go anytime. I'm sure we'd have a good time.
