I lost a couple of good dogs in the past few months that will sure leave a big hole in my pack.

Wood was all I could ask for in catch dog... and caught a bunch of hogs with him in the 7 years I owned him. He was a pleasure to own, easy to handle and had one of the most laid back temperaments in a bulldog that I’ve been around.

Sally was a fine little gyp that just got better with age. She showed us a lot of hogs in her 6 years with us. Luckily, we have 4 young dogs out of her that we just started... I sure like what I see out of them so far.

The solid ones are always hard to replace...you don’t know how much work they do til they ain’t there to do it.  Glad you got pups outta the old girl though!

Hate it when it happens Mike. Wood was damned sure awesome. I loved him and I’m not a pit guy. He was a great dog. Period.

I saw Chris post about Sally on FB but I didn't know you lost wood. Always liked seeing pictures of him here and on FB. Sorry for the losses amigo.

Sorry to hear it Mike, Wood was such a cool dog. I hope you can find a suitable replacement for him, I know it won’t be easy.

Thanks y’all. Fortunately I have several young cur dogs coming up and some good friends that sent me bulldogs to use.

Sure hate that for you man,,,  Everytime I hear that song about ole dogs never getting grey and old,,  it reminds me about the handful of dogs a feller can have in his life that he will never forget...  Some are unreplaceable.....
