Had a ole feller call me last week and ask if he could tag along with us today.   I told him for sure and we went to a lease of mine in Winnfield.    Caught a 80 pd boar hog and cut him so the feller could feed him out a little while.   Then we caught a pretty good boar in a creek that cut a Plott dog pretty good.   Then we picked up two more small shoats and called it a day.   Made my day to hear that fellers stories from him and my grandpa yrs ago hunting together.   He made 80 this yr and boy I sure wish I had them extra yrs with my grandpa    Them days go way to quick and you always too young to know it.

You are exactly right. They go way too quick. On my trip to Georgia, I made it a point to go visit my ole buddy in Florida. He's in his mid 80's and just can't get up and go like he did. He's a great friend and like you say, the stories that flow. I'm sure glad I got to see him and his family.

Good hunt Toby. My grandpa didn’t hog hunt but he ran them ol deer hounds and since I’ve gotten back into it I think about the times I went and stayed wknds wh him and ran those ol hounds. Good times and memories. Those old timers always have some good stories!
