I have am still feeding my dog Diamond Hi-Energy. I also know thats if you give them to much protein and the fat is not really proportional to it then it will tear there stomach up.

Pride

A buddy of mine picked up some new one the other day. I think it is called big rock or something along those lines.  I read the tag and it sounded pretty good, about like the best pride, just a little cheaper.  Going to see how it works for him and may swap to that.

I second spotmix 24/20!!

That's some good feed. I've tried it all, and for the money....you can't beat it.

Feed is important, but "WATER" is probably the number one thing that makes a dog not hunt or come back to the truck or wheeler.

DEHYDRATION....

My self....do you use the purina pro club? it pays off if you use alot of feed. I used to like useing the hi-pro in winter but I am told they don't make it any longer.

i feed a food called victor 26/18  was feeding diamond high energy but they changed there formula i know cuz i called now if a batch of food dont have enough fat  they just spay it with corn oil to get the fat % up   the green bag of diamond is still good foog its now the 26/18  but im gonna stickwith victor cuz there food has no corn, soy,or wheat for fillers FYI  dogs cant digest that stuff     with victor theres way less poo cuz they digest most of the food  and i dont have to feed as much of it FYI i have fed  sportmix , red flannel (prime formula ), and black gold  all are good foods  but the victor works better on my dogs and is cheeper
