Made a few squeal... one pretty good boar hog and sow with Lou, Lefty LaRue and Hannah. My 9 month old pup had a close encounter that he sure didn’t need at that age. Also caught a stinkin’ ol sow with Chris and Heather... not sure what she got into, but she was pretty rank smelling.

Man that stinking sow brings back memories! We caught a sow and shoats once that we bayed inside a dead cow carcass. Man man man

Caught a lil'ol Russian colored boar in the hill country last year between Kerrville and Bandera that had been feeding on something dead, he smelled like a gut wagon.

Hope your 9 month old bounces back man.... we pray everytime we take a young dog that they don't have that sort of luck but we can only control so much...good hogs

I hunt a place every now and then next to a big landfill... man, you talk about some hogs that stink! You don’t even want to touch one without gloves on haha.

Those are good hogs. You always hope a young dog dose not get set back after a bad encounter. Most will bounce back and some never get over it.

I sure hate getting them wrecked that young... seen too many ruined or set back from it. He came in and chewed on the hog after we killed it... I think he’ll be ok.

He earned quite a few points in his favor for the breeding pen in the future...
