Had a female get cut on the belly about a month ago. The piece of fat that runs the length of the tits was hanging out 8” or so. Sterilized everything really well, got the fat back in, stapled shut, antibiotics for a week, etc.. now she’s healed up fine but there is a bulge there now about the size of a golf ball, it’s soft like it’s fluid inside.  Question is should I make an incision and drain it?  What y’all think
Thanks

Yes, Make a 1/2 or 3/4" incision and let it drain. You can also shoot some tomorrow up there and flush it. Should heal right after that.

Well I cut it open today, squeezed it real good...nothing much really came out other than blood. It’s like after you squeeze it and let it go, it inflates back up. Kinda strange. Any mode ideas?  I shot betadine all in it too

You might need to cut a little deeper. Sometimes on deeper punctures they abcess deeper and the pocket is under the muscle. Take a large guage needle and poke around a little and see if you hit the pocket. Other then that, it might have hardened to the point where it will not drain.

This is common when a wound heals on the outside before it heals on the inside.
