A rancher I’ve hunted for for years just net wired the south end of his place. The hogs would always run south to the neighbors and cross the highway on me... so I knew this new fence would screw them up. Sure enough, the dogs trailed into a block of woods and bayed them in their bed. The hogs broke and headed south about 3/4 mile to the new fence. I watched it all unfold on the Garmin haha. The dogs ran up the fence a long ways, stopped, turned around and came back the other way about 300 yards and all showed treed. They had a young boar stretched out when we got there. In the meantime, the landowner’s son was at the other end of the fence waiting for anything to try and cross the highway. The other boar hog that was running with this one went that way and caught a bullet. I sent all the dogs back in and went and looked at tracks where they crossed a couple of spots... it was only the two hogs, so we called it a day.

That's a good thing right there. You can hunt it with a little peace at mind maybe now.
