Myself, my two boys, and one of their buddies made a little round yesterday morning. It wasn't a particularly extraordinary hunt numbers wise or trophy wise but it sure was enjoyable. I led a catch dog but outside of that I didn't lift a finger or get wet lol. We cast Raylynn, Ava, Hank, and Crystal ( a pup). Raylynn and Ava were bayed within 5 minutes. Hank and Crystal got there and the hog broke. 75 yards later in some thick honey suckle type vines, he was for sure getting his butt bayed right. They wallowed out the vines pretty quick and it was good watching. I watched the hog run at Hank and Hank juked him right out of his nikes with a head fake and slid right around him and grabbed a mouthful of ham. Ole hog squatted and spun on his butt and Hank backed up and went to baying. I was surprised they didn't catch him. He was about 150ish. Before he quit his death kick, the 3 older dogs were bayed again a little over 400 yards to the top of the hill. There's a gulley up there and the hog was in a ridiculous briars that run the rim of it. I sent Blake but the hog broke before he got there. When he broke, he had a new destination in mind and was hustling to get there. He stuck Hank right behind the short ribs right before I sent Blake. At 630 yards, Raylynn and Ava were bayed again. The big dummy left the woods we were in thinking he could cross 3/4 of a mile of open ground to a different set of woods. About 150 or 200 yards out into the pasture, they literally had him sitting in a little shallow creek. That's where we sank him and called it hunt. Good dog work and great company, that was a good time. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

He's gonna miss a couple weeks. He was humped up pretty good. He'll be ok though.
