Me and Seth made a round at the trinity last night. I took sketch and he brought rocky and his pup. Turn dogs out and they were bayed on a group in about 15 minutes. Didn’t realize they had a group or that they were in the wide open so we ended up driving right on top of them and blowing it out. They carried a boar about 300 yards off the original bay and put him up in a tank. I roped him out with the intention of sending him on his way a little less of a man but we ended up just sticking him once we got him on dry ground. That mud we were in about swallowed me trying to get him roped.
We saw a bunch of sows and shorts break to the south so we sent the dogs on. They caught a shoat about 600 yards later. Killed it and decided we were more than happy to head back towards the front since it was still before 11.
Get back to the high fence side and sketch catches another boar sneaking in from the neighbors. He thought he wanted to run but they convinced him other wise, put him up in a tank on short notice and we busted him after letting them have their fun. Good hunt. Dogs worked really good and land owner is happy. Headed back tonight to a different place to make a round as well
