Well yesterday morn that ol pillow was just feeling too good but finally managed to get up around 8 and load couple dogs and couple pups along with 2 cds. Got to the woods and saw a nice track but ol Ginger couldn’t figure him out so we moved on. Got lil further down the road and saw another good track so I put her and my Jack down on the ground along wh one pup. She trailed him down the road a good ways into a cutover that’s got planted pines about 8’ tall and THICK as all get out. Her and my pup outta her, Hoss, trailed off then I noticed the Hoss coming back. Just about the time Hoss made it back to the ranger Ginger opened up. She was bayed solid! It didn’t take long till Jack covered her and then I heard another dog and it was ol Hoss! He was singing away!! Since they were only 100yds away we sent both cds from the buggy, not know that cutover had gotten that thick since last time I was in it!! Me and Jace, my son, were about halfway to the bay when we could tell we had a good un caught! We got within 10 yds from them and heard he hog break! I was sick!!!! Jack and Ginger left out with him but Hoss saw us and came to us, he’ll figure it out. Back up cd came out and was injury free, he’s not really filling his role.....then Ruger came out. Saw blood coming outta his mouth and opened it up to check it out and that hog had ripped out his top K9, root and all!!! I got cds back to ranger then went to making calls for someone to bring me another cd or 2. Heard em bay again but broke. Got around to where they were and it showed me coming right to us!!! While I was watching the garmin Jace says ol crap daddy, look ahead!!! That ol boar was running down the road right to us!! I knew then was a good un! They weren’t far behind either. I text guys I had already reached out to and told em I just saw the hog and he was a good un! Drove around to where they were headed and garmin showed both treed! Got within 300yds and sure enough they were “bayed solid!” Waited about 15 min for my buddies to get there and we eased up closer and sent help to em!!! Wasn’t long till the commotion broke out and sound of a “caught hog” was sounding out!! Ol Jett had him a mouth of “rear and” and others were on his head!!! He was bayed in another jungle of a thicket too!! Dogs only had couple bumps and bruises except for Ruger but after a trip to the “dentist” in the morn he’ll be just fine. I’m looking for another solid cd though but I know they’re hard to find. Sorry for long read but it sure was exciting. Hog went around 240 or so.  Btw we drug the hog to that opening to take the pic. Lol!!
