Cajun...I to do worry about copperheads nor cottonmouths snakes...hunt the dog and he will get over it sooner than later...
I have had one get bit by a rattler and she survived...
A friend of mine says a dog will not survive a rattler bite if bit In certain places close to vital parts...
A couple years ago I had one get bit on the leg and it’s whole leg was swollen for over a week...no snakes in area nor fang marks...didn’t find any spiders but I was thinking brown recluse...do recovered completely without any scarring...
Like already mentioned...after a week that dog should be getting better...
