I had a young dog get bit by a spider on the foot. It got so swollen that it dislocated her toes and when it finally ruptured, it blew the entire main pad of the foot off.  It ruined a good young gyp. I would have lost her completely had I not been pumping the antibiotics and dex to her. I used really strong dosage of antibiotics because they are less effective when given with dex.
