Yes sir... caught on hook and line, then shot. Chris’s wife Heather cut and vacuum sealed gator meat all day yesterday haha.

X2 on great job... Cajun...you are right on the gator over population...once a gator gets a certain size it doesn’t have natural predators other than other gators... So we have dumba$$es wanting to protect them but they have gone overboard with it...I bet they eat all kinds of wildlife including baby ducks and other waterfowl...they need to increase the number of gators taken per year... When I was growing up we swam in many areas in the rivers near by as well as lakes In the surrounding area and never thought about gators...no one swims those places anymore on account of the many gators...

We just measure them from the tip of their snout to the tip of their tail with a tape measure.
He sure had the head of a bigger gator... I was thinking 11’ - 12’ on him.
