What is the best thing to hang up for your catchdog to chew and pull on?  I hung an inner tube up for Ol'Grip "my young Dogo" and he demolished it in 2 days.

Most bulldog folks I know use cowhide, I don't know who is selling it around you but it holds up as good as anything.

Thanks, I can probably find an old hide where one has died and cut me a chunk of it to use.

Old man I don't mean to sound like a know it all but I like to use those blue racket balls or hand balls  and get them playing  ball. They will really squeeze those which works their jaws. It also will condition one especially if you get them to retrieve it from a pond. Another thing it does is allow you to put a handle on them with things like saying caught hog when you reach and take the ball from them. It was easy and fun the to swim them in the summer and dry land during the cold. I'm sure you've thought of this already but thought I'd put it out there.

The big size jolly ball for horses hold up well and bulldogs love em. They are soft enough to puncture but strong enough they don’t just tear a hunk out. They like to grab the handle and shake em and beat themselves up with em. I always called that the hog eat. I liked think it helps targeting as well on hogs. If you leave em to long with it and they get bored they may just chew it off though. But it holds up really good and is fun to throw and let em chase and beat up on

I've always used cowhides and the dogs love them but they do wear out.

I've always been interested in trying one of the tugs made out of fire hose but never had yet. I would think they would be far more durable but I don't know for sure.

Actually a piece of tire sidewall "without steelbelting" works pretty good. The thing is with any chew like this to last it needs to be hung high enough so their front feet are off the ground. Then need to hang on and can't just chew it away.

I took an old tie down strap that was damaged in a spot so it had to be replaced off the trailer, I used to use it as a tow rope but when my bulldog decided he wanted to use my sons swing for himself I was afraid of him damaging his teeth bc the swing is just an oak limb tied to a piece of rope hanging from a big live oak, the old strap worked perfect and as he tears it up I just let some more of it out...
