Thanks but for now I probably better keep her, one of these days I am going to breed her to Gantte and see if they are doers.    Picked up two puppies out of him and my B-in-laws gyp this evening, gave them their first shot (they're 6 weeks old yesterday) and let them down to run around, my wife mixed them up some milky feed and sat it on a box, they winded it and were frantically searching for it in a minute they were rearing up on the box and having a fit to get it.

Flo is coming in as we speak but I'll probably put  off breeding her until this time next year, the thing is Gantte is constantly getting banged around some and anytime it could be final, but with 3 pups basically 7 mths old and one nearly 10 mths old all 4 doing well and then these two baby puppies I just don't need them.  Maybe I should bite the bullet and collect him just in case of disaster.

Thanks guys, probably no phenoms among them but have a pretty good success rate with them under varying conditions on hogs and bear.

I would definitely collect him. It's always better to have it and not need it. And don't feel like you can't breed her to him just because she's down here lol.

Y'all had a good hunt up there. Some really good looking dogs and pups. Who is Flo out of?  I would tell you to get Gantte collected but I have been bad about putting that off myself.

Flo's mother was a straight Gantte female named Nell, her daddy was my Hogue dog that was half Weem's Butch Jill blood and half Gantte, so she is 3/4 Gantte and 1/4 Butch Jill of the Seth McAlexander variety. I sold Hogue's sister and retained breeding rights to her and when she comes in they are gonna bring her up here and I'll breed her to a young male I have called Sooner that is straight Gantte, "maybe" get some similar to Flo as we like her pretty good.

Well if she's anywhere near as good as she looks, and I have no doubt she is, she bound to be nice. Good luck with that next mating.

Thanks t-dog, but I could just be an internet hunter setting up the next big sting to get rich selling dogs, in which case you'd be stuck with a dud. hahaha

Mark yours is a mate to the ones that will be 8 mths on the 13th, so yes they are 7 mths old but there were some that were 7 mths old on the 2nd
