Met up with Mike Starling, Justin and Mike the knife.  Got unloaded and headed for the area we wanted to turn loose in. We were not there and Hillbilly rigs one. Got out and found a decent track. Turned Hillbilly out and he is opening and I turned 2 more in and Mike Starling turns three in. They trailed in about 1/2 a mile and jump. Screaming race that got out of hearing in a hurry. We drove around trying to catch up and in about a hour they showed bayed. We get within 200 yards and start walking. This area is all palmetto swamp. The Plotts had him caught awhile but we could hear a couple baying. Sent a couple bulldog s in and sealed the deal. They had him caught in waist deep lily pads. Nice young boar. Went back to where we wanted to turn loose in and turned Showtime loose and a few others. Young dogs jumped something but when Hank came back I knew it wasn’t right so I started some shock therapy and the young dogs were soon back. Looked on the Garmin and Showtime was out about 900 yards. He made a loop and got within a few hundred yards and I sent Hillbilly to him. They were headed to the other side of the club so we drove around. Got some dogs into that race but had to catch them off when they were crossing a state Hwy.

Fine hunt man.  Always good to teach the young dogs a school lesson.

Thanks Guys. This club is known for it's running hogs. The main problem is lack of roads. It borders a state Park and river and you have to drive way around and then it is a mile or so walk in. This is the place where I lost a young dog to a gator a few months ago.
