So i had been seeing quite a few spotted sows back in early December frequenting our feeders and made comment thay I wanted to catch some spotted pigs when they dropped, lo and behold my dad calls me one morning saying there's a Ile of pigs in the road by my stand at the lease so i jump in the truck with a crab net, haul tail over there and managed to catch a couple. I kept 1 little spotted boar hog I've been raising woth a litter of curr pups for going on 5 weeks now and i gotta say it's been great lol. Cheapest comedy I've ever watched, this pig truely believes he is a curr dog, every where they go, he goes, when they sleep he sleeps, what they play he plays and when they fight he is right there in the middle of it. He has almost tripled in size since i caught him, if imagine in the nexy month he will pass them up as fast as he is growing. Little devil loves Showtime dog food too

That’s pretty funny

Until the brotherly and sisterly love hate gets serious and they turn on the “brother that looks different “ and then go out and look for his family to bay lol

Justin, you need to put a tracking collar on him and teach him to hunt with his siblings

For some reason my comment cut in half. Also said it would be great to see him holding a bay by squealing at a big ole boar hog lol

I have a picture somewhere of a whitetail fawn "Flag", striped russian pig "Stripes" and some plott pups all eating dog food on the porch, my daughter was small and they were her pets, she would not let the pups bother her pig and later when I went to start one of them (after them having  grown up and were put up, separately ) he would not bay that hog, I thought we'd ruined him.
Took him to another guys house that had some wild hogs in a pen and when I pulled up to his house the pup winded the hogs and went to barking, I turned him loose and he bayed up a storm on those penned hogs, got him home and took him to "Old Stripes" pen he would not hit a lick, he had been trained to not bay that one hog by my little girl.

Had a friend that raised a little boar like that one. At about 100#s that joker tried to breed everything on the yard! Cats, Dogs, Chickens everything Male or female didnt matter. He cut it and that helped. He let it run loose and his dogs didnt bother it. At about 150-200#s he got very territorial and would meet strangers at the truck door with teeth popping. He finally had to pen it up because he thought it was gonna hurt someone.

I had a sow I raised while in college. Everyone gave her beer....the older she got she would run you down if you had a can of beer!

Lol, you’ll sure enough be able to take that pig with you on hunts. Turn him loose first so he tracks down the pigs and doesn’t get em jumped up, then turn out to him haha

I have a hard enough time getting the little fatass off the porch to use the restroom, i dang sure ain't toting his ornery butt to the woods lol. Believe it or not I've had him for close to 2 months and he just now has started willingly coming to me in the mornings to be rubbed and scratched, he tolerates people around him but generally doesn't want to be messed with which is fine with me, im gonna go ahead and cut him in the next week or so and get it out of the way. He is on Showtime 24/20 exclusively now, if o it down hog feed he won't even smell it anymore. Little devil is growing like a weed.

I had a potbelly piglet and a little piglet caught out of the swamp a few years ago that were like that. They would let me walk around them in the pen and feed them, and they’d come up to me to eat but as soon as I tried to touch them they’d freak out. I had them for a few months and they never did like me touching them
