Went and made a round with my buddy Chad this morn and we decided to just bring mostly younger dogs. Didn’t find a lot of sign but knew there was a good hog in the area from what lil sign we saw. Dogs hunted real good and covered some ground this morn. Finally around 11 we got him up outta his bed and he didn’t make it too far. Chad had Angel and Bella, his 2 rcds, on the ground and they put the brakes on him! My Hoss pup was in on the whole deal along wh couple of Chad’s. Brought his head out with us for some memories. He won’t be rooting up no more of the pastures around the house.

Man good looking hog and dogs! Seems like a lot of the boars we catch in the pines have good teeth like that

Nice hog for sure. Is your catch dog a pit, pit/American, dogs, or American? Just curious as to what he is. Looks to have a pretty easy disposition.

That’s my buddy’s  cat/dogo. He’s solid as they come. He’s got a pair of em and they both can find and catch their own hog. The gyp will bay on a bigger hog until help arrives but Angel, shown in pic, is straight catch. He’s as athletic as they come too!!

I assume he let’s them run like an rcd then or does he normally keep them with him until he sends them?

T-dog, he uses them as a RCD’s 90% of the time. Both of them have a very good handle on them and can go the distance too.
