I like the looks of those bulldogs. He looks like a bruiser for sure. We don’t get to cut any hogs around here because of the numbers. That would get me run off my spots if they knew I was releasing them after I caught them. Do y’all loose many cutting them in this heat or is there no way to know?

I like the pit/American crosses for the most part. I’ve hunted and hunted with a quite a few. Her and the pups look real athletic. I’ll bet they are cracker jacks!

Not to derail the thread.

Last summer a guy wanted some hogs on his deer lease because they didnt have any.   I caught  25 hogs about 40#s in a trap. 23 boars and 2 gilts. I cut and marked all the boars in the middle of the summer and turned them loose. They were and still getting all of them on cameras, all but the 3 they shot. I went and caught one with the dogs and they gained 100+ pounds in 6 months.

That said. I have a friend in S. Fl that sells a bunch of hogs. The barrs he catches 250#'s and over, they loose about 1/2 of them to the heat and hauling.

So who knows?

I know for a fact I cut A LOT of boar hogs every year and dont catch as many back as I cut!

Good hog, show us a picture of the big buckskin bulldog. Curious to see if its a big looking pit. I might of the chance on an AB from Noth Carolina, i guess it doesnt get along with an older house dog.

NLA Hunter, I'm hunting out of a Pioneer 500 and I see a custom built bed. Did you built it yourself? Can you show some pictures of the way you have your P-5 set up?

Yeah that’s a good set up. Especially since it’s on a Honda.   Lol.  At least u can depend on it.   As long as I clean my Polaris up and keep it in the shed I don’t have to fix the breakdowns.

The bed and the bumper are very nice. Thanks for the pictures. What is the length and width of the bed?

I built a bed that bolts to my rack. Eventually, I would like to build one like yours, but I don't think I'm that talented. In the future, I may hit you up for some advice on building one.
