I hope you the best with them little firecrackers man...  they look the part already...

But as far as the analyzing part goes..  a feller cant do enuff of it I believe.. Just like pairing up the right strike dogs ,, the catch dog u sending to em can make or break the work that they just accomplished.. Plus make us walk more going to 3 different bays when it couldve been just one ...

Them slow waddled tip toeing type catch dogs is what I like..  the ones that are thinking about how it needs to hit their target...Not a bull in a china closet type but one that is gonna sneak in whatever way it needs to so the target dont even know its fixin to get smoked..  They dont make many like this and I tell my son all the time ..  dont get spoiled to walking in to one bay and one catch,, cause it aint gonna be that way all the time..

Just like Good Presidents,,, they dont make em but every couple of decades... LOL..
Lol you are correct highwater

Cracker, that pup looks real nice! Love to see the future dog handler too, I think this country would be in a much better place if there were more children going out in to nature and actually experiencing the world instead of being glued to an iPad. Looks like you’re doing it right!

Hey Jimmy and thanks good r see ya on here
She a nice little dog - she bred pretty nice but I like your statement of breeding best to best - that exactly what I done on this breeding - the momma dog is a no bull #2 kinda acting dog - not aggressive but needs zero petting or extra care - kinda serious acting I guess you would say - the pups have turned out to be smart and don’t think have to worry about catching - can’t wait to start em
Do you still have bulldog connections? I know I probably asked you that before but I can’t remember

Yeah you can really see her in a few of them pups big time.  O yeah I got old bulldog friends that I will go to the grave with .  Yeah man after it was all said and done in the bulldogs for all them years .  I ve had a chance to really reflect on the things we did and did not do.  When we where really running dogs we did not have time to make sure this dog was in there are that dog was in there.  We bred to the dogs that got it done and with great results. I think you will find out that after a person makes so many of those breedings best x best and you have great offsprings from those best x best .  Then you can start to build a real family of dogs knowing what crosses to use because it will be the crosses that are in your best to best breedings.  I dont want anybody to get me wrong I love good family bred dogs and bred them a long time like that. Had some great dogs .  But now that all the smoke has cleared threw all that breeding we done .  I can clearly say.  If I had to do it all over again I would have never gotten so deeply involved with heavy heavy family breedings.  I would have done it like I started out doing it not giving a damn about a pedigree but breeding the best to the best  and let the dogs make the pedigrees and stayed the hell out of the way.  Breeding dogs like that you get all the vigor in the world and dogs that can stay for the long haul.  The human element I have figured out over the years is the weakest link in real dogs .

This is right before I told  them that gal that lives here with us is coming outside and she gone see y’all and get mad and then it goes down hill from there !

Anyway they have seen hogs and caught fair - I don’t think I have to worry about em
Have good sense and I hunted with the daddy to these this past weekend and he is a fine animal
There was 4 out this litter and It’s looking like a 100% successful breeding
I will probably go ahead and breed the mama again when she comes in and be done breeding for awhile but should be in good shape on (real) bulldogs for good while

Really nice dogs guys. Don’t appear to be anything to change about them at this stage.

Cracker it won’t be long and you’ll be like me. Staring at your boy throwing a hog and wonder where the heck time went, little fellas today and grown tomorrow. Don’t quit doing what you’re doing because none of us are guaranteed our next breath!
