When Hambones momma Holly got gator eat he was Hambone was around 7 wks  old and I thought I'd never be able to replace her and though He was Holly He tried really hard and was just as good in his own way.Rowdy and I have Hambones son who's 7 wks old now Kong maybe he'll try and  fill his Daddy's shoes as hard as Hambone tried to  fill his Mommas he has that special kinda demeanor about him like his Daddy did already.Kong!

He’s purdy! I’m betting ole Rowdy has as big an impact on Kong as Kong does him. My 11 year old laid claim to one of my year old pups when he was weaning age. He taught him to sit, and his name, and would hide food around the place and let him go find it. Now I’m starting to hunt him and the look on my boys face when that pup is shining is priceless! I hope Rowdy and Kong get to share these same experiences.

First time back on here in a while, but wanted to say I sure hated hearing about you losing Hambone. I know what it's like losing a real good one. Sometimes they are more than just a hunting dog, and that just makes it harder to lose them. Hopefully one of your young dogs will step up and shine for you.
