Caught 10 this week, nothing huge but good meat hogs and couple decent fighting boars. Haven’t taken many pics for one reason or the other, but got a few yesterday. Stopped by a friends place for a quick am hunt on the way out to my place to do a little work. Caught two sows in 15 minutes then ran over a buck shed so that really cut it short. Took 3 strike dogs and one stag cross bulldog yesterday. He is standing a little sore in the picture a boar took a cheap shot on him while he was caught I had to jump out with a stick and get his attention on me. I know better than to go into a rally without a firearm, but it was on the rig and I had to do something fast. Yellow pup getting better every hunt and is very independent.

Man there ain’t much that’s prettier than some perty yeller dogs. And that’s some fine ones.    I grew up hunting yeller dogs and sometimes wish I still had some.  Fine haul on a bad start man.  I ran over a shed last yr on a buck i thought was dead.  It got lodged in my coil spring on my ranger and I hard hell getting it out   Lol.

OLD MAN that is a mother/daughter set. Mother is half mountain cur, 3/8 catahoula and 1/8 hound. The daughter is 1/2 blackmouth, quarter mt cur, 18.75% cat and 6.25% walker.  Nothing special - just threw some dogs together that worked well in our eyes.

Stock comes out of south Texas and West Texas. I prefer hunting females and also prefer a smaller dog.
