Farmer planted corn and had some hogs coming in and tearing it up.So we made a round this morning found the first track in the corn it was a solo sow who was bedded up on a beaver damn Rooster, Bj and Kc trailed her up and caught her.Found some more tracks in another field this time Rooster and Kc trailed off about a half mile in a swamp and ended up in the middle of a big lake swimming laps and chewing on sow number 2 they left after we finally got her to a bank and dispatched and caught another Bj left on a good boar Rooster and Kc got with him and pushed him hard a couple miles right towards the highway haul butt around there catch BJ and Kc Rooster slipped on by and his collar ended up breaking we spent the next 3hrs trying to find him and by the grace of God saw them cross the rd several miles away and 3hrs later and were able to catch Rooster. It was a good hunt other than the collar breaking the farmer was happy.Kc did good today.

Scary when those collars go whacked. Spent several hours trying to get my Gus dog located after his antenna broke a few years ago.

Good hunt. Garmins are great when they work but they have let me down enough where I run tag a long telemetry on my collars. Twice I have had to use them and found the dog each time. Best insurance out there.

Thanks, Yeah T-dog I was pretty fortunate to be able to get ol Rooster he's a pretty nice dog to put in front of KC. With Cypress bred and  BJ's hips giving him fits I dang sure needed him.

I run telemetry on mine also. I had them before garmin. The old collars do more good around their neck than sitting in the corner of a closet.

That sick feeling is that little tattle tell inside you letting you know that you might think a little more highly of him than maybe you realized, lol.
