Just finished up these two skinners. The one with the forged in finger guard is forged out of 5160 steel with Mahogany scales.
  The other is stock removal from a heller Red Tang horse rasp with Walnut scales.
  Y’all tell me what scales you like the best. Going to make me a set of kitchen knives. Have to make sheaths now.

That’s a hard pick.    But I guess I’d go with the first one.  That’s a fine piece.  Awesome work.

For some reason between the shadows and the glare it makes the blades look off or warped but they are good.

A fella could be proud of either of those Cajun but I like the walnut scales a fraction better I think.
