Has anyone tried the new Dogtra setup. Double U Supply has a podcast where a fella is trying one, they say it has the ability to put an electronic fence up on your dogs while they are hunting. I think they may be on to something if it works like it should. If they can make it work they will give Garmin some competition.

I switched from the Alpha to pathfinder about 4 months ago. I like it so far. Holds collar communication better than my Alpha did in this part of the country. Thats why i switched to it I was fed up with Garmin's BS.

Am I reading this right? It says no cellular data required does that mean if you do not have cell phone service it will still track your dog?

BA-IV North Texas. Out west of Wichita Falls jsh Yes sir it runs off bluetooth from the receiver to your cell phone. Although you will need cellular or wifi to download or load maps on the phone.
