Had the first flea outbreak here in nearly 10 years, part of the dogs were literally covered. I put about 15 ccs/mls of Dominion on them last night just before dark, some on their belly, armpits and their back rubbing it in to be sure and get skin contact  and this morning there isn't a flea to be found. In years past when treated this way they didn't reinfest. These dogs hadn't gotten fleas since I have been using the Termidor or the Taurus SC, maybe I was lax on retreating them with the fipronil products but whatever the case they are gone this morning.

The Taurus SC and Termidor are "fipronil" based and are great for ticks, the Dominion is "Imidlaclorpid" based and has always wiped  fleas out here. I know of several more that use Conserve with real good results.

By the way you can buy 27.5 ounces of Dominion 2L online for about 35 dollars and it will treat around 54 dogs which is about .70 cents each.

I used Taurus sc for years topically and would get rid of them til
Next round with my buds dogs.

Conserve orally ‘spinosad’(sp?) used one time when I was infested sand at wits end and never used it again.

Whipped out every flea on the yard.

Semmes that is the results I get on fleas with the Dominion 2L. The Taurus SC really does the job on ticks without them getting immune to it.

I used dominion as well. Ended up using it to spray around the piers and beams on the house and yard  after I bought the conserve.

We got lots ticks here. I kept a jar with alcohol and cotton balls on porch and do a tick pickin every week early spring.

But for fleas conserve completely knocked em out.

Paid 100 buck for the bottle and got 95$ worth left after two treatments.

Think I’m have to use the rest on the persimmon and blueberry before it go bad cause got no fleas to use it on

I heard that’s the go to stuff to buy. I’ll be picking some up. Dominion isn’t touching them.

Few years ago one of my dogs wasn’t at the house for some reason and missed his flea treatment. He got them and infested the whole yard, the little back strips that I was using at the time wasn’t touching them. Tried a bunch of stuff and finally got Conserve SC after seeing it talked about on here. My bulldog literally had hundreds on his stomach, he rolled over and was solid black with fleas like I’d never seen. In less than 24 hours there wasn’t a flea to be found.

I normally only use it when needed, 1cc/10lbs put on a slice of white bread and fed with food. Some of the dogs are bad about not wanting to eat it. This year I’ve already had to use it twice and went heavy on the doseage. My wife said she picked a flea off one of the inside dogs which means I need to go inspect everyone. Not sure if the stuff is losing potency or the fleas are just worse this year. I’m almost out of the original bottle that I ordered a few years ago.

I save jars of bacon grease in the fridge and after I put the conserve on a pc of white bread it put good dollop of bacon grease on it to and make em each a fold over they usually eat it then

The fleas are back this year…my outside dogs are doing good but the inside dog was getting bumps all over on account he is allergic to flea bites from what I can see…he has the run of the backyard several times a day so that doesn’t help…
