Have a couple young dogs to start this year. One of them never even seen a hog - not the best first hog to ever see, but you’ve got to learn sometime.

My older bitch dog found him in his bed. He didn’t budge, stood up and laid right back down when I put that 30-30 in his ear. They were bayed super tight in some thick briars and considering the young dogs at hand, having one CD and me being alone I went ahead and shot him. Kind of enjoy a good bay and shoot anyways.

Annie - cur with 1/8 hound.

Little young yellow gyp getting in some sniffs and some late barks. Pulled a little hair. Did well hanging in there as well as me shooting over them.

Dang that's a good hog, probably not the best hog for a new dog. Shooting him may have saved a mess.

Good job. Nice hunter & dog work. Weird to see Annie as an old bitch. Time goes by too fast. CD’s feelings were the only thing that got hurt! Good luck with the young dogs.

Leon same place I’ve taken you. Lots of big boars with teeth. That boar would’ve seen the cd coming a mile away. One way in and one way out, and there’s no moving fast in that stuff.
