Made a hunt last sunday with a great group of people. A great friend of mine and a very successful photographer offered to come out and try to get some pictures. She is ate up with a working dog as much as anyone. We made a run at some hogs at the cattle company after over a inch of rain that night. Wasn’t as good as I was hoping but there were some hogs home. Got some really good experience for a pile of young dogs. Working my greyhound back into the game. Caught 5 or 6 hogs. Had tons of fun, and Maddie ended up getting some awesome pictures. I know one day these will all mean so much more to have when a lot of these dogs are gone.

3 hunts in this country. Caught atleast 6 sows over 220. Haven’t gotten on a good boar yet and they are on camera.

Hold over these links and click open in browser if they don’t work through Tapatalk. Click on the little Gear icon on the video and turn video quality up. You can actually see what’s going on

Pretty good video standing in the middle of a bay. When I say bayed this is what I’m talking about. Pile of piglets. Notice you never hear a squeal.

Had a heck of a time. We’re gonna do it again no doubt.

Sounds like a real good time. That’s what it’s all about, spending time with good people and good dogs. Your friend did a good job on the photography.

Man those are some good pics. That worm dog and the black bulldog with trimmed ears are both great looking dogs. Looks like they are all doing a pretty good job for you too.

Thanks Rednose, and likewise to everyone else. Thanks for the compliments. Rednose Tim will be happy to hear that, both his dogs. The bulldog gyp is rock solid. 4 year old this year. Been used since probably 16 months. 90% of that time solo. And she’s been on some BIGS solo and with help.  Worm is a cow bred pup. Got some tooth to him but he’s barley a year old. He has more of the puppy than his brother Roach has still in him. Roach is going on pretty good Struck and bayed on a hunt solo already after they bayed a group.
