EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

Started out Friday afternoon couldn't  get anyone to go with me so I went out by myself  took out a 10 month hound pup and older dog and catch dog  wasn't there ten min an pup bays up and I headed that way but as quick as it happened it was over and dogs were back with older dog cut on ear so walked toward end of the property  and then  older dog strikes out with pup on her heals and catch dog not far behind. While the dogs were baying I called my buddy up and he was headed out there  so knifed the sow and got dogs and went to meet up with my buddy and his uncle  gets there with 3 more bay dogs and we cast out dogs  and it was getting dark so started heading to the trucks and dogs bay up got to the pig and all dogs were there but catch dog was just standing there and dogs baying a big pig in a ceder tree  didn't know why the cd  wouldn't catch  hog finally broke and started gathering up dogs but my pup and cd were still chasing the hog  finally got dogs loaded up  and noticed  the cd was cut on belly by back leg but not too bad so headed home. went out sat and loaded up dogs and headed out to buddy's to try a different place  and noticed the cd front leg was cut pretty good so left him  and headed out with 12 gauge instead wasn't seeing much sign and was windy then my buddy's dog that was siting with us watching the dogs got up and  head away from were dogs are working and starts baying not even 100 yards away and we see the hog was the biggest hog any of us has seen my older dog and his is baying loosely and my pup is baying a piglet in the swamp he was carrying the gun and we went to the older dogs  he went to shoot and gun  had safety on  :o and said he couldn't get a shot after that and the two dogs got smoked and headed to pup but pup got out ran also  ended up with nothing sat.  photos not that good was taken from phone (http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt91/bryanmcc420_2009/0326101927-00.jpg)the one i got by myself friday
