Jon the hog rub trees you posed up on were nice, but I forgot to get a pic of the monster rub you found yesterday. I think Crystal took a pic of it though.  It was great to get a chance to hunt with you. Alan told me you shook that boar down with a vengeance.

For the record if anyone on this site has an opportunity to hunt with any of these fine people, JUMP ALL OVER IT. Our Texas guests were a true pleasure to host. I hope we get an opportunity to have them again. The children are all characters that are great kids. All of them are really handy in the woods. Rowdy hit a few hogs harder than some of the catch dogs I've seen. Heck, he even caught one barehanded with no catchdog.

Great pics Josh ! And you are right the Tx crew were great people and the kids were funny as could be. I really like the camo job they did on your truck !1 I plan on posting some pics as soon as I get a chance.

Well we certainly had a great time this week with all our new pals! We were able to see some great country and hear several types of good races! LOL!  ;) I believe the best part of the whole hunt, for me, was seeing the dedication that CutterBay has towards his hounds! Whether it was to mentally prepare the hounds for the challenge of running against the blackmouths or if it was for Cutter to convince himself that hounds were better than yellas, I do not know, it is just nice to see someone try so hard to stay devoted to their dogs at all cost! LOL!  ;D ;D ;D So Cutter I didn't get to ask you this week.... does the Superman suit really work for you with the hounds? And also do you find that the ruffles on your pink panties make you feel more like a natural born hunter? ;D Just Curious!!!

I can only assume this was taken while I was picking up the dogboxes with Ninja. Either way, I too have been PISTOL-WHIPPED!  Nice move. I like it. I'd like to buy that costume off of you, so the hoover-hogs will all know who is cleaning them up.

Good deal!  There is nothing prettier than a hard wood swamp with cypress trees and hogs.

 LOVE THE PICTURES! With that crew right there, I know everyone had a great time. But who ever took that picture of poor little Cattle going to the bathroom.....that just ain't right. LOL When he grows up, he is gonna get somebody for that one. LMAO! :D

Just got home and had to mount my dog box befor I even unpacked the truck! Ill post pictures tomorrow! It fit like a glove!

I had the best time on this trip! The country was beautiful and the hogs were there but the best part of it for me was the Florida Hog hunters! I've got plenty to share with pictures and yarns and I will get them posted tomorrow.

Cutter, you were a fine host and I appreciate you opening your home and kennels up to me and my dogs! You and Tara sure know how to make a guest feel at home!

It was a SWWMD hunt down in Central Florida.

Cutter looks like yall had a great time,and caught hogs to boot.As for the Texas crew that you had up there with you, They dont come any better than CWards family  and the NinjaIf I was going to pick some body from the state of Texas to repersent us it would be the people that you had with you.Hope to get to come to Florida and hunt with yall one day also.

Josh thanks for putting up with us we sure enjoyed it! I will say that I sure enjoyed listening to your hounds run and sure liked watching them move a track! That is the first time I have ever seen a hound take that cold of a Dilla track and move it that far! LOL

Yeah Josh, they must've taken that track better than a mile ;D To take a track that far then have the diller smoke your blueticks must've been heartbreaking ;D

I have to say that the trip was better than I even expected and all of the Florida hog hunters I met were dang fine folks! Mark "crackerc", John"sfboarbuster, and Lisa"spazhog", you guys were a true pleasure!
Lisa, you helped save my dog and I am very thankful that you were there on that last boar we bayed!
John, you my friend are one hell of a hand in the woods!!! Anyone that can catch a hog that rank without a dog touching him and shake it out like a beach towel is alright by me! You impressed the hell out of me I have to say!
A special thanks to Josh, Chance, and Cristal! Cristal, you, Lisa, Rowdy, and Tristan together saved Meangirl from a bad cut to the jugular and I am so very thankful I had all of you in the woods that day. I never knew a dog could bleed so much and still live to hunt another day! I would have berried her in Florida if not for the efforts of all of you and thats a fact! You guys will always have a friend in me!
Josh, you went above and beyond as a host and I am proud to call you my friend. Even if you do hunt hounds! ;D . I love those hounds of yours and look forward to hearing them run again one day!

 I love the country and scenery down in Fla. love the pics. hopefuly can get down there myself one day. I have an uncle that owns a car lot down there in ocala, john morrow. might know him.
 
 If the good lord is willin, and the snow dont get to deep, I am headed to texas in feb. and i cant wait to see how them "good" cur dogs works.  cant wait!

Allen, I wouldn't have done all of that except for seeing meangirl laid out on my way into the bay. Knowing she didn't have long and not knowing what other dogs were cut I figured I might as well put and end to that sucker while I had the opportunity.

Me too!!! You slammed that hog so hard I believe it knocked the wind out of him! I am thankful you put an end to him so fast! Meangirl bled enough for 3 dogs! Matter of fact, we thought 2 other dogs were cut bad but it was her blood on them. All from one little poke in the right spot!
I have been telling a few Texas boys about your hat technique! I dont think they are ready to sell there catch dogs though!  ;)

She has recovered nicely and hopefully thinking about how she screwed up with that boar.

Spazhog, I owe you a new jacket! I found a nice one for you in Alabama on the way home. Its nice and has a Crimson "A" right on the back. If you dont like that one, I found another with a burnt orange longhorn on it right here in Texas.  rolleyes

He showed up to hunt, but decided to go hunt by himself (with his ride along buddy), so that they could spend more time with his hounds on the dirt.  They caught 2 good boar hogs that day.  Not bad, for a place that has some serious runners.

hey man i was out at this place wednesday didnt catch nothin but about 30 dillers haha got on a big boar hog but he had some legs on him i was one of the ones that was hunting with the hot shot lady   8)

Wished you would have said something. We would have loved to talk with y'all.

Hey Allen. I spoke to Lisa on the phone. She is at hunt camp and no computer. She said she will be back next week and will talk to everyone then. Said for everyone to have a good Thanksgiving!

We only caught 4 hog during the hunt. We should have had about twice that many but things got a little crazy on the 1st and second days.

Put us down for 5 Alan. That one that Ray bayed opening morning was your hog. Those sneaky guys flat stole that hog. Garmins told the real story on that bay.

Sounds like crackerc ran into the same bunch after reading his story.  ;) Its hard to argue with a feller that is carying around a .44 mag though!

It sure would have been nice to put an end to that bad runner after such a long race! Whoever catches that hog will be doing Florida hog hunters a big favore thats for sure!

We have plenty of February permits. I'm looking to do what I can.

Chance told me today that February in Florida is mighty inviting to Crystal and him. I'll cross my fingers Mark.

I hope so, coz Terry wants to meet and hunt with them too.
