Title: woods pen Post by: Peachcreek on February 25, 2011, 08:00:38 pm I am going to build a pen in the woods behind my house my question is what wire would you guys think would work the best for the money. I am planning on fencing 2-3 acres for messing around with the pot lickers. I was kind of planning on useing a trencher along the fence line to set the fence at least 6" into the dirt and probably just use t posts exept for at the corners.. any advise?
Title: Re: woods pen Post by: Bo Pugh on February 25, 2011, 08:12:01 pm i know of a couple pens around here and them guys use that net wire its not real high i think about 330 ft for about 100$ and they put a hot wire all the way around it about 1 foot off the ground, just dont forget to turn the hot wire off before you put a dog in there :laugh:
