Title: Raising Hogs Post by: hog bit on August 23, 2011, 08:34:45 am I have a 40' round pen with a 16'x4' loading chute. I currently have 1 barr, 2 sows, and 2 small boars. One of the sows is pregnant.
This will be the first time I try to raise a litter. What do I need to know? Should I put her in the loading chute until her litter is weened? It looks like I waited too long 2 separate her. She had 6. They are all quite active. I will catch and seperate her and the piglets up tomorrow. Thanks again. |
