Title: Lil sow in Oklahoma Post by: Bar R Ranch on February 25, 2012, 09:32:46 pm We loaded up this morning and met Herb. He had Holly and Waylon. We had Breed and two pups that we raised that had never been in the woods... Moon and Shine. Turned out in fresh sign and it didnt take long for them to find this little sow. They caught her in the edge of the creek so we went ahead and killed her.

Waylon got his stopped so we head toward him and sent the pups to him. We get within 30 yards and cut the bulldogs. He breaks right before they get there and we see its a good spotted boar. Waylon and Shine are still running him when the garmin says Breed and Holly are bayed at 1.6 miles, so we drive around to them and by the time we get there its off to the races again. The dogs scatter and it shows Breed bayed so we head to him and he is across a big creek and 3 guys in kayaks have him! They brought him across and said he was after a pig when they caught him >:( . So we gathered the rest of the dogs and called it a day. Not much of a hog but atleast we got these pups on a pig.
