Title: presa- canario Post by: drew on March 19, 2012, 11:09:53 am has anybody used these dogs
i was interested and would like to here about the breed Title: Re: presa- canario Post by: dub on March 19, 2012, 02:01:50 pm They are not good around people besides the family they live with and they can be very dog aggressive. They are also expensive. There is a breeder near me that I know if you want one. But they would not be a good hog dog. But nobody could get in your home even with you there. You would have to have a very strong kennel so you could have guests. Only some of his dogs can I even go around with him.

Title: Re: presa- canario Post by: Kid7 on March 19, 2012, 05:40:02 pm Ya x2 on the aggressiveness! I had one that was half cur he was a great RCD but he only lasted a month at my house. Bit to many ppl, jumped on to many other dogs, and snapped at me to many times. I couldn't even catch him he was all business couldn't touch him. Let him out of the kennel, he'd jump in the box, then open the gate, go catch a hog, he'd load back up then go get in the kennel wen we got home. I will never own another. I like to be able to somewhat handle my dogs.
