Title: Fridays offshore trip! Post by: justincorbell on July 07, 2012, 06:47:19 pm We ran 50 miles out of sabine pass to some rigs in 50-70ft of water and had a great day!
42 chicken dolphin 7 snapper 4 triple tail 3 spade fish We coulda filled the 110qt cooler full to the gills with the chicken dolpin but left em bitin in search of bigger fish. Had an awesome time! We caught the chickin dolphin and triple tail under a weed mat 42miles out. I had just cut my line to change lures when a about a dozen tripletail came out of the weeds and headed straight towards the commotion at the side of the boat, all three of my partners hooked up and rhe rest stayed right at the boat so i grabbed the already lockd n loaded spear gun, picked out the biggest and smoked him lol.....so i guess technically i speared my first 3 fish lol, only 2 of which i was in the water for but hey they all taste the same!!!!
