Title: Never caught one of these before! Post by: TColt on March 25, 2013, 12:40:08 pm Took a big group of people out for a hunt and to let some newbies and youngins get a taste. Jade and lacy did good work and remi finished the job. Caught two young boars and remi snagged an Aoudad.

I see a monster aoudad comin down the hill with my Dogo bitch right on his heels. She gets a little flat open spot between cedars and snags him on the nose. Slowed him down just enough for me to dog him to the ground. I can officially say I have a gold medal aoudad under my belt. We get remi off and let him go for a preacher man to shoot that evening, and we keep on huntin. Hahahahaha way to go!!! Tbob we got a couple we would put in a foot race! ;) We would even let them run there's without gear! Luckily he didnt care about me catchin one. Said that he knew they smelled like hogs cuz he sees them roll in hog wollers and he is cullin them all off the place cuz they are eatin his white tails protein. There was only this guy and one other left. Needless to say, I was relived.
We got plans for some speed demons to be hittin the ground by the end of this year. Breeding Brains Chica bitch, by Soco, a full sister to the dog that caught the aoudad, to my Deuce dog. Should be hell on wheels. Possible plans for some DogoXgreyhounds out of a sure enough coyote bitch dog as well. She is 7/8 cold blood, 1/8 hot blood, bout to be started on hogs. But that breeding probably won't be till next year. Title: Re: Never caught one of these before!
