Title: Stinky situation Post by: BBBB hoggers on September 08, 2013, 11:19:38 pm I have a dog he my best dog. When hunting he likes to kill skunks. I think I'm getting him over it and he goes and gets a skunk. I don't think he gets them if there are pigs around but he will if sign is slow. Have y'all had any problems with this?and what can I do to get him over this?

Title: Re: Stinky situation Post by: SwampHunter on September 09, 2013, 07:28:21 am I had a dog that shocking didn't work he would just kill skunks an go back to hunting ,
Boot to butt worked best though if you kept him in hogs he would t trash but if you go a few hours with no sign a skunk was going down lol, as long as he is not barking at the skunk I wouldn't worry bout it to much because right when you think you got him broke he will get another one , seems like when they start on skunks they are really hard to break off them Title: Re: Stinky situation Post by: halfbreed on September 09, 2013, 08:58:13 am lol I've owned a few like that and here is my theory , if getting sprayed in the face by a skunk doesn't break them nothing will . but it does suck when you have a real good dog and it's hatred for skunks is it's only flaw .
