Title: German Shepard dogs Post by: Bonnie_Clyde on November 24, 2013, 09:07:01 pm I read a message awhile back about if a German Sheapard would make a good hog dog. I have raised Shepards for over 25 five years, but only for attack dogs on humans after being held at gun point in Houton,Tx. Me and Judge and his kids were training the young pups in a really redneck bay pen that my buddy had set up years ago. Put these young pups in with a pretty rank young bore and pups got hit pretty good but were putting teeth into this hog when it busted out of the pen and the race was on. Pig crossed the county road and the neighbors German Sheapard came out of no were and side lined this pig and shook him let go because it had a shock collar and let go. Shepard has never seen a hog in his life and saw this pig running and hit him hard, pretty impressive to see in person how this dog went in without warning. ;D
