Title: Re: Pork Post by: cgasch on December 04, 2013, 12:54:59 pm Makes excellent carne guisada! The book says it will keep for a year or longer. It won't last that long around here..Put it in jars and pressure cook it for 75 minutes at 10 lbs for pints. I also put half tsp of canning salt in each jar
Title: Re: Pork Post by: cgasch on December 04, 2013, 01:00:55 pm back in the 50's we used metal cans to can it. you could buy the cans and lids and we had a can sealer that we put it through and then we pressure cooked it. you remember that don't you UD? Oh, I am sorry you are not that old!
