I am new to this Zimecterin, I read that I would give about a pea size for a dog above 30 pounds. My question is why do I need to do both? Aren't they both the same drug used in both? Someone help me understand the difference between the two. Thanks... I read the working routine sticky and didn't find an explanation. Also why worm is my dogs don't look "skinny"??? I would stay away from the Zimectrin paste and use safeguard, valbazen or strongid. These will get the intestinal worms. Dogs pick up worms everywhere, doing this monthly will keep them worm free.

Thanks fellow hog doggers Sonny Zimecterin and Ivomec is the same thing except that one has 1% ivermectin and the other has 1.87%...you can use either one for heartworm prevention...
