Title: Pups baying videos Post by: hoghunter71409 on June 28, 2016, 03:29:38 pm I'm sitting here at work with not too much to do, figured I would share a couple videos of some pups baying. The first videos are of my four pups getting after their first coon (7 months old). The second set of videos was from two weekends ago on their first hog (in the woods). Three of the pups are mine and one belongs to a buddy. All 8 months and first hog.

But he stayed in there after getting thrashed. https://youtu.be/Z0fqAVU50sU https://youtu.be/G1XsvAHxldQ https://youtu.be/6Lzajwr9OeY https://youtu.be/DnkqDqTuiHQ https://youtu.be/BleTYoNNXVY Title: Re: Pups baying videos Post by: Shotgun66 on June 29, 2016, 06:14:47 am Pups did a fine job. Catch dog ain't gonna have any trouble locating them when they are bayed!
- Do you run your dogs on both hogs and Coon? Title: Re: Pups baying videos Post by: Pwilson_10 on June 29, 2016, 06:36:26 am Are they in a wood pen I would give any thing to have a wood pen them pups like like they know what the heck is going on

I will start them on coon, house cats, or anything else that will run or tree (minus deer and coyotes). I had that coon in a cage and I was working the pups. I started to drag the cage to excite the pups and the door popped open. Mr. Coon didn't make it far and they caught him on the ground. He was able to fight his way loose and he hit the water- he never made it back to dry land alive.
Pwilson- That hog is in the woods. I wish I had a big woods pen like that. I leave for Wisconsin to run bear tomorrow. I hope that I can get them on several good running bear that end up treeing. |
