Wanted to share this particular hunt because young dogs really shined. My buddy Chase and I made a hunt the other morning we decided to only bring young dogs I brought Rye and my (Holly)pup Hambone he brought Rousey and Scrub(another Holly pup) right out the boat they find and catch a sow in the switchgrass thought it was gonna be an action packed day but we made a big 5hr loop and didn't get on anything else decided to head back to the boat because it was 11:30 am and getting hot notice Ryes gone look at garmin and she trailed off 600 into the middle of a head to a pond and we hear her jump so we head in to try and get the others on the track to help when we got to the pond she started heading right back towards us and this  Barr runs 30ft by us at about 90 mph Rousey and the pups jumped on the race with Rye and left out the pups got shook off pretty quick and we soon lost communication with Rye and Rousey we were on foot and tried to keep up best we could like always couple hrs later of walking towards them I picked up Rousey and she was coming back it was really hot by now and I couldn't blame her she showed up gassed and we got some water in her not 15 minutes later I pick up Rye headed back towards the trail we were on  look up the trail and here comes that ol hog but this time his mouth was open head hangin low and we could see he was about done he cut in the woods up the trail from us and low and behold here comes Rye still on him we sent Rousey and 350 later they had his butt caught both these gyps will bay but they knew we were right there and knew he was out of gas got closer and sent the bulldogs for insurance couldn't have been happier with these young gyps.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180211/3d6f02f60d2f2c04e9e4aecc3f724f42.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180211/6b85e41e01558db824e78f4ceb399857.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180211/ba496bcaad3cf854effc3dff61ea7cee.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180211/517149a2290a9097ce0e06d276233d84.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180211/38e81a9856a0c40f8b82e8bfd20aaff4.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180211/67ef0b6651b5ee07f331624ac2a53361.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180211/6f7e595258522dd937845930d8c57567.jpg)

Shoot yeah, love them young ones turning on. That's impressive they stayed hooked that long too. Sounds like you got some good breeding going on. Congratulations.
