JDT, I worked all over PA, Ohio, and West Virginia on a drilling rig and have worked in some weather that was actually single digits with wind chills reaching into the upper negative 20's, don't get me wrong I'm not trying to sound like a hard ass, it was cold, but it wouldn't be near as brutal as when I got home to south MS, when the temp is in the upper 30, that humidity in the air makes that wind feel like it's ripping right through you and the more you bundle up underneath the more you sweat and the worse it gets, I'm not even going to elaborate on the heat, I think everyone who lives in the southeast knows what I'm talking about.... |
