I am posting this for a friend. He has a big brindle cur gyp that will hunt in the 300-400 yard range and will shut down a running hog. We hunt plenty of rough dogs and hes wanting to trade her for a strike that will at least hunt in the 800-1000 yard range. Dog doesnt have to be rough just silent and find hogs. He will trade and pay cash for the right dog with a trial or see it in action. Ill get some pics of the gyp on here soon, she will be 2 years old April 1st. Call me at 936-465-0715 with any questions. Located in Woodville Texas area.

I have a 3 year old brindle male cur dog that will hunt loops of about half a mile according to garmin. He is a little too rough for my liking at this point because we are working with alot of young dogs at the moment. He will try hogs under 100 pounds and will sometimes try bigger ones. He doesnt get outran much and definetly will stop a hog. All of our other dogs will stop them too but without trying them. Id be willing to trade you just for the bloodline. Ill give you a trial with him and if you dont like how he does Ill be more than willing to take him back. Is there any way you can send me a picture of your dog and Ill try to get a picture on here for you. Thanks

Circle C,
Me and 3 other guys hunt on horseback in real thick country. Between the 4 of us we hunt 6 dogs (all pure curs). Of the six dogs we hunt it doesnt speak for the hundreds upon hundreds we have culled. Alot of th edogs we have culled would be great dogs for some people and some other hunting styles. 5 of the 6 catch on command (the only one that doesnt has a real damn good nose). I can tell you that we wouldnt sell a dog we hunt for anything less then $7500 (maybe even if that). I truly believe that finding a dog you like to hunt behind is worth no amount of money. I hope you find what you are looking for but Im afraid it pretty much implausible. maybe you can try breeding a lab and a pit? Either that or invest a really good shock collar and spend lots of time with about 20 dogs to get one you might like. If someone has a dog like you want you better be willing to get your pocketbook ready. Good luck to you though. I agree that a dog like you describe wouldnt live very long and would also get your other dogs hulled out pretty fast. Just my opionion though.
