I am  getting out of the army and moving to san antonio, i was just trying to find out if there were hogs in the area or if i will have to drive to hunt em. please any info will help. thanks

Im gettin out of the army due to my medical problems so decided on moving to san antonio, but i aint herd of anyone catchin hogs down that way, anyone know if they got em down that way? or if im gonna have to drive a long way to runn dogs?any info would help thanks

whos are your dogs out of? did you have them shipped from the U.S? sure are built rite. good hogs by the way. i need to get out your way, looks like yall have plenty of the big boys there.

just keep workin them pups with the older dog bayin, they will figure it out. take em out 3 or 4 times a week if you can just dont do it too long they will get bord of it. make them want to do it, like that is there play time. it might take a week of it or it might take a month or two but they will get it. they are pups i dont like takein them out to the woods till they are 8 months or so, but thats me. and what ever you do dont toss ur pups in with a pissed of boar hog like you were told before, ive seen to many pups that went to trash because of folks doin dumb stuff like that. like i said just keep workin em with the old dog they will get it.

soooooeyyyy, I knew there was a reason i wanted to move to texas. Good hogs and hunt. i bet them dogs were tuckerd out after al them hogs.

hey yall.. ive been on this site for a while now, and love it, i dont know if yall herd on the news about the 2 soldiers killed and 9 wounded in iraq the other day. i am one of the guys wounded shot in the back by a coward,  and my friends are all sittin in the hospital fighting for there lives. please pray for the 6 that are in the hospital and the familys of the 2 that we lost. we lost 2 of our best to a scum bag that walked up shooting us for no reason. i dont want to get into all the details but the news is wrong about what happend. so dont believe a word of it. we appreciate the prayers and hope to see our men safe and in better health, god bless and thank u for your support.

ya that helps ive always ran cur dogs that are closed so just wondered. mabee ill try a cross with plott instead of pure. the hogs we runn here dont stand around for a dog to find em they hear a dog and there not stoppin till there in the next county.lol

not tryin to sound dumb but ive never hunted behind a hound but was wondering when they open up are they normally on a trail that is an hour or two old or are they on one that has just come through in the last few mins? im wondering this because im thinking of getting a plott. thanks for all help.

im interested to kno what this dog does. ive herd from alott of oldtimers that sum of the best dogs are the ones u get from the pound or on the side of the road.

hey tn the pups look good i like that cross of cat and plott, ive been looking for a plott male to breed to my female cat. if you get rid of any pups let me know, Ide like to try one of them females that look like a plott, hint hint lol  if u are gonna get rid of em of course.

well i found out i have my first baby on the way, Im really hopeing its a boy but ill be happy either way. But i told my wife the other day that as soon as the little joker is able to hold his head up he was gonna be out with me stickin a hog. lol  well that didnt go over to well. she said not till he is 10 or so, but im sure by three or four he will go and sit on the four wheeler with dad till its safe to come in to the bay.but my ? was how old should ur kids be before getting them out to stick a hog? my dad took me when i was 2 and helped me stick my first hog so i dont feel there is nothin wrong with startin em young, like to hear what yall have to say.

ya nice tie job, i finally gave up on the tiein cuz im so bad now i just use handcuffs lol they  are quicker for me.

i know a few old timers that hunt half cat half jack russell and ive seen em hunt they make some good dogs. if you do a cross like that let me know ide like a pup.
