You never know, my 10 year old daughter (she just turned 10 a couple of weeks ago) can handle herself pretty well.  She shot her first hog at 7, followed by a deer at 8, then this year another deer and a couple of hogs.  These girls, when raised right, are just as capable as the boys.  So treat her well and she may fool everybody come time to put meat on the ground.
